Flooding from August 4th and 5th resulted in damage to county and township roads that top $100,000.
As of August the 11th, Damage in Grundy County totals more than $128,000, Statewide the damages total more than $16,000,000 from flooding which began on July 31st. Grundy County road and bridge crew has already made repairs to some damage with additional sites to be repaired next week.
Grundy County commission, along with the emergency management agency has been working with the state emergency management agency and townships within the county to prepare for a possible federal disaster declaration.
