Assessor office: Help wanted

The Grundy County Assessor’s Office is seeking candidates for the entry-level position of GIS Coordinator/Field Data Supervisor.

Candidates hired will receive on the job training in collecting data from real property for the purposes of tax assessment. Responsibilities include performing field inspections of real property parcels; collecting and maintaining property data; and providing, in-person and by telephone, customer service regarding information maintained by the Assessor’s Office, and also other duties as may be assigned. Candidates should possess proficiency with standard office equipment and should be familiar with Microsoft Office programs. Candidates should be capable of working independently and are required to possess and maintain a valid Missouri Driver’s License.
